Same portfolio, five different answers to "which editor is your site pretending to be?" Each one is live enough to feel: click any element to select it, and the chrome responds.

06 Studio Board — the 01 + 04 hybrid

Studio's chrome and structured artboard, with the Whiteboard's life scattered around it on the canvas — stickies, a hand-drawn arrow, v1 pinned up for humility. And Jack is no longer decoration: he potters about the file, selecting things, muttering in cursor chat, straightening his stickies.

01 Studio

The Figma-grade design tool. Light chrome, layers panel, inspector — and your 2019 site sits on the canvas as a locked, greyed-out "v1" artboard beside the draft.

02 Cutting Room

A video-editing suite. The portfolio is the programme monitor; your career is literally the timeline along the bottom, with a playhead crawling through it.

03 System 7

1993, one bit, MacPaint. Pinstriped title bars, a dithered desktop, marching-ants selection and a proper tool palette. Pure charm, endlessly screenshot-able.

04 Whiteboard

tldraw/FigJam energy. The portfolio isn't a page at all — it's a spatial board of cards, sticky notes and hand-drawn arrows, with a floating toolbar and minimap.

05 Pressroom

Desktop publishing, circa QuarkXPress. Your site as a magazine spread on a pasteboard — crop marks, cyan and magenta guides, a baseline grid, CMYK swatches.

All five share the same bones — toolbar, panels, canvas, selectable content, a Publish button — so whichever wins, the interaction plan (select, drag, rotate, edit text, undo, publish-your-remix) carries straight over. They're desktop mockups; the real build gets the tap-friendly mobile fallback we agreed.
